    People

7-Eleven is more than a store. It represents the qualities of a good neighbor – accessible, supportive, reliable and welcoming to all. We are dedicated to serving customer needs, and every day – in ways large and small – connections are made in our stores. 7-Eleven seeks to offer every community the ability to thrive by focusing our philanthropic efforts across three core areas: health, safety and opportunity. Explore more about our work to build thriving communities, including our signature programming and nonprofit relationships below.

    Health
Meeting the everyday needs of our neighbors in support of their overall health and wellbeing.

7-Eleven, Inc. is a proud supporter of Children’s Miracle Network, contributing more than $200 million since 1991. Through in-store fundraising and our Miracle Tournament and Celebration Dinner, we provide support for the organization’s 100+ member hospitals across the U.S. and celebrate the children who benefit from Children’s Miracle Network’s great work.

For the latest information on our work with Children’s Miracle Network, see our most recent Impact Report.

    Safety
Coming together and fostering the relationships that make our communities stronger and safer.

For almost 30 years, 7-Eleven’s Operation Chill program has helped create more positive relationships between law enforcement agencies and the communities they serve. Officers can reward kids in the community for doing good with free Slurpee® drink coupons. Over the years, more than 24 million Operation Chill coupons have been distributed to 1,300+ law enforcement agencies. 7-Eleven Cares Foundation, supported by 7-Eleven, Inc. has also teamed up with National Night Out to support local law enforcement and their neighborhoods across the U.S.

For the latest information on Operation Chill, see our most recent Impact Report.

    Opportunity
Ensuring our neighbors have access to opportunity and the support needed to realize their full potential.

Project A-Game is one of 7-Eleven’s long-standing community outreach programs, created to advance youth education and opportunity in our local communities. Participating U.S. franchise and corporate stores can get involved by applying for grants that provide youth development and educational opportunities for young people in their areas through the Boys & Girls Club or other local educational programs.

“Having a sense of belonging is crucial to our overall satisfaction and happiness as human beings. It boosts our mental and physical health and even our longevity. It gives us a sense of purpose and meaning which, in turn, impacts how we view our jobs, the time we spend at work and the atmosphere in which we collaborate and support each other.” – Larry Hughes - Vice President, Corporate Human Resources & Chief Diversity Officer
